You will also lead the management and administration of related software and licenses, including assisting with negotiating licenses, installing and testing upgrades, delivering related support services and liaising with external organisations such as software and data providers.
The candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and has teaching experience in Geomatics and Physical Geography. He/she will be required to contribute to all study programs in Geography and to hold courses in both English and German. The successful candidate is expected to be actively involved with academic management at all levels.
The candidate shall take the lead of the interdisciplinary Center for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces of the University of Bonn. Applicants are expected to link to the Department’s core research area Geomatics.

The position is included within the EIT Raw Materials Project inSPECTor, which aims on the development of an integrated Spectroscopy Sensor System for Laser-induced Fluorescence and Hyperspectral Imaging.
