The REA Space Unit is looking for high-level remote sensing and commercial experts for the H2020 Space calls closing on the 6th of March 2018. The fields of earth observation topics are listed below and the topic description is available in the H2020 Space work programme.
In order to be involved as an evaluator in H2020, you have to be registered in the H2020 joint database of independent experts filling the form available
here.
Through the single registration in the database, you can also be considered for evaluations or monitoring in other Space-related programmes such as the SME
Instrument, ICT, Key Enabling Technologies, or Earth observation in the societal challenges programmes.

EARSeL (European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories) is looking for a young
member/PhD Student/young researcher with a background in Remote Sensing and in
social media for the management of the LinkedIn page of the association.
The tasks of the manager of the EARSeL page are to regularly update and feed the
LinkedIn page of the association with news, events and opportunities in the earth
observation domain. The goal is also to make the page as attractive as possible.
The LinkedIn page manager will work in close collaboration with the EARSeL webmaster
and will be in contact with the EARSeL Secretariat and the EARSeL Bureau.
A contract will be signed between EARSeL and the LinkedIn page manager. A honorary
is proposed and an annual activity report will have to be send by the LinkedIn page
manager to the EARSeL Bureau.
The contract would start in the first quarter of 2018.

You will also lead the management and administration of related software and licenses, including assisting with negotiating licenses, installing and testing upgrades, delivering related support services and liaising with external organisations such as software and data providers.

He/she will be required to contribute to all study programs in Geography and to hold courses in both English and German.
